The original RAD pulley lift: two rubber-coated hooks raise a bike or a ladder of up to 100 lb toward a ceiling as high as 12 feet, and a safety lock holds it.
Screw the brackets into a joist or a rafter, or into a 2x4 that is fixed across the joists, and the bike hangs upside down by its wheels above the car. The lock catches the rope, so the bike stays up when you let go.
Take one hoist, a 2-pack or a 4-pack, in black or green. The same hoist lifts a ladder or a cargo box off the floor.

Before you start
You will work overhead or at the top of a stud wall, so set the ladder on a level floor, face it and keep a hand on it while you drive the screws. Fasten the brackets into solid framing (a joist, a rafter or a stud), never into drywall alone, and read the instructions in the box first.
