About RAD Sportz
RAD Sportz makes the gear that gets kayaks, bikes and ladders off a garage floor, and the gear that takes a boat from that garage to the water. We have been at it for 18 years.
RAD Sportz has made storage gear since 2008, and the range starts with a bike lift. The RAD pulley hoist, sold under our RAD Cycle Products name, hangs a bike on rubber-coated hooks and holds it with a rope lock. It is still in our range, now in black and green and in packs of one, two and four.
Kayaks came next. A boat is longer, heavier and harder to grab than a bike, so the kayak hoist got straps on its hooks, a 125 lb rating and a brake that pinches the rope on every pull. Wall hooks, strapped hangers and freestanding towers followed for garages where the ceiling is taken.
Today the RAD Sportz range runs from the ceiling to the water: a folding cart with airless wheels, grapnel anchors with 40 feet of rope, covers in two lengths, and a small home-fitness line for the days the boat stays on the hoist.

How we print the numbers
Every capacity, ceiling range and size on our pages comes from the specifications printed with each product. When a number is missing there, we leave it out rather than guess. Read our editorial policy.
Where you buy
We show the RAD Sportz range here, and every buy button opens the product at our retail partner, where checkout, shipping and returns happen. How we update prices explains the dates.
Who to ask
Questions about a hoist, a rack or a cart go to hoists@rad-sportz.com. Tell us your ceiling height and what you want to hang.
Questions
What is RAD Sportz?
What does RAD Sportz make?
Overhead hoists, wall hooks, kayak racks and stands, a kayak cart, anchors and covers, bike stands and racks, and a small home-fitness line.
How long has RAD Sportz been around?
Since 2008. The RAD bike lift came first, and the kayak, paddle and fitness lines followed.
Is RAD Sportz the same as RAD Cycle Products?
RAD Cycle Products is our bike line under its own name. The bike hoist, the floor stands and the repair stand carry it.
Does RAD Sportz sell directly on this site?
No. This site shows our range, and each buy button opens the product at our retail partner, which handles checkout, shipping and returns.
